Can you verify your Full name and DOB for me please? Perfect! This call will be recorded for quality control purposes. With the blood pressure monitor have you had a chance to open the box?  If you can go ahead and grab that box, we can go ahead and start that together.  Look inside you will see 2 small boxes you will see white and green box that says cellular gateway on top.  I want you to go ahead and see that there is a black power cord at the bottom go ahead and plug that into your cellular gateway. And what I want you to do is plug your cellular gateway into the wall, it needs to be close to a window so we can transmit to cellular towers outside of your house. You don’t have to have Wi-Fi because it is going to reach the cellular towers just like a cellphone would. Perfect! Can you tell me what color it is?  If it’s red that’s perfect that’s mean you have pretty good cell service. Now what I want you to do is grab that other box inside that would be your blood pressure monitor. You would want to take out the blood pressure monitor and the cuffs itself so its going to be a cord attached to that cuff. And you’re going to plug that into the monitor. Perfect!

 

I want you to turn the blood pressure monitor over there should be a little pull tab that will allow the batteries to connect you see that?  Perfect go head and pull that out for me that way it will turn on.  Sweet now I need you to go somewhere and sit down. I want you to take a deep breath and relax I want you to go head and slide that blood pressure cuff on your arm and do you happen to have bare  skin or a light T-shirt ? Perfect! Bare skin is preferred but if you do have a T-shirt that’s fine it can go over your T-shirt. And sliding on about 1 to 2 inches above your elbow then I want you to stick 1 to 2 fingers under that cuff because I don’t want it to be too tight when it blows up(Compresses). So let me know when you have that ready. Thank you for doing that! And now what I want you to do is put your feet flat on the ground and relax that arm if you can put your arm on the table or counter or on the arm of a chair. You want your palm up and your upper arm at heart level and once you have that you are going to hit the start button and let me know once you hit the start button.

I want you to sit still and silent while you take that blood pressure reading. I’m going to go over some education with you that why it doesn’t take too much of your time.  For your blood pressure monitor we want to make sure when you take your blood pressure you always wait 30 minutes after consuming caffeine, exercising, gardening, anything like that. And you want to make sure that you don’t ever smoke prior to taking your blood pressure that can also increase it. Don’t know if your aware but a full bladder can also raise your blood pressure 10 to 15 each time.  So make sure you take your restroom break, you want to be relaxed when you take your blood pressure. And you always want to sit still in silence with your feet flat on the ground because our device is very sensitive. If you talk or move it can give you a error message but its ok we can redo the process you want to make sure you have the cuff above your arm not too tight 1 to 2 fingers taking that deep breath and once you have that blood pressure reading you going to hear a beep from the gateway.

The gateway device is gonna turn green letting you know the reading has been sent to me. And then your blood pressure monitoring  is actually going to say DONE. And at that point it going to turn off at that point you don’t even have to press stop

Agent will check blood pressure in MDR and let Patient know there blood pressure reading 98 over 40 (98/40)

So you want to take your blood pressure everyday  around the same time but if not everything happens we understand just make sure if you take it in the morning you want to try to take it in the morning  consistently if not taking it at night is just fine. You want to take it once a day everyday and if not everyday at least every other day.

 

We have to get a good average for your [provider } and that’s how we keep you safe and healthy is by making sure your blood pressure stays good and making sure you stay healthy. We are here 24/7  7 days a week even when your provider is not in Holidays , weekends , nights. If you start to feel off  , tired , fatigue instead of having to go to urgent care you can actually just call us and we have a nurse on call that will be able to go over your symptoms and help assist you . so that you don’t get any extra cost or anything like that. It’s quite wonderful especially if you live alone.  Do you have any questions for me?
